[Found!] 67 Dart Trunk Lock and Hardware

Hi all

I'm looking for a 67 Dart trunk lock and associated hardware.


I know I can buy reproductions

Here is the rub...

As I understand it.

67 had a unique key way
68 had a different unique keyway
And 69 up had another unique keyway.

There was a Chrysler memo that said if a lock was replaced under warrantee all locks would be replaced with the 69 up style keyway

So I'm looking for a 67 style keyway trunk lock.

This is an "I" key.

Let me know what you have.

It should be presentable and not corroded/rusted

Light scratching on the stainless outer cover is ok

If you think you have what I need I can send you a key to test.

I'm trying to maintain my glove box door lock and have only one key for trunk and glove box.
The lock MIGHT have a part number on it of 2802 404

Not sure if it might indicate the correct 67 keyway.

I have one trunk lock with hardware, but no key as well as some extra hardware. I don't see any part numbers on it so there is no way of knowing the production year. Do you have the original trunk lock? I have done it several times and have extra tumblers and springs.

What are you wanting for the lock?

I do not have the original trunk lock it was mia like 1/2 the rest of the car!
