For a starting bid of 12 grand, I'd like to see original seats in near mint condition, and some nice tail bezels instead of painted-over stuff........

That 273 opened up to a 360 doesn't sound quite kosher either......What else is in there? That is a little steep in my opinion, BUT the verts are getting higher on average.............So, I guess it's subjective. 8)

don't know if they could stroke a 273 to a 360, but doubt it

car looks like mild custom with cloth interior, trunk carpeted and trim painted. Would have to wonder did they do this to hid what is really there

Wow, I see an awful lot of things that could use improvement for that price. What is with the painted trim, is there even top and bottom trunk lid trim, I can`t tell? Velour seats are from what? Door panels cut out, carpeted trunk, aftermarket steering wheel, 273-360? Hasn`t been registered or driven since bought 4 yrs. ago? Makes you think there`s something wrong with it. I`d like to see much more of the original car for that money. 12k and those are best photos they can come up with? 12k if everything was original, as is ,7k maybe. Just my humble, unprofessional opinion.

The paint is to cover up pitted, dented and scratched trim. It's totally missing the top and bottom trunk trim and then they filled in the trim holes. At minimum there are lots of shortcuts with this car. You must check for more hidden issues.

Don't even think of buying this car sight unseen. The car sure seems like a PERFUMED PIG.

Thanks for the input.

I have seen some ridiculously high asking prices for convertibles in stock form. It is good to see what you guys expect at this price point- at least I am not crazy!

I have no idea what someone can do to a 273 to "rework" it to a 360.
I think I've got it. A 17/32" overbore would get it there. Perhaps a mere 1/2" overbore and a small offset grind on the crank. ;-)

The whole thing just doesn't seem quite right.
