I'm new to this site so hope I am in the right forum. I bought a 68 340 Formula S notchback about 4 years ago and finally getting around to restoring it. The car looks real stock and the guy I bought it from said it is. The car is still up on this old link: http://americandreamcars.com/1968barracuda340forms011507.htm
Does anyone know if the flat black hood is possibly correct? Any chance the hood pins are factory? I am considering a side stripe and see some cars with a low double stripe and some with a curvy upper stripe like the early 'cudas. Anyone know what stripes were optional in 1968? The car has a console and the bent shifter. I would like a tach -was that a factory option and if so where was it? It does have the wrong buckets so I am looking to buy a couple of correct ones.
Thanks for any help.
