This is a continuation of my thread on selling my 68 Trunk lid trim strips.
[SOLD] - 1968 Barracuda Trink Trim Panels - Plenty of picture details

This is what the 67 looked like when I bought her. Wrong trim. Lines on the proper tails light didn't even come close to matching width.

Sold that trim, and bought the proper trim strips.
Car club friend welded in the extra 68 trim mounting holes for me late last week.
Weather warmed up enough starting Sunday, that I ground down the welds; light weight filler & sanded; glaze and more sanding today.
Along with that, a coat or 2 of primer to see where the smaller flaws are.

Wet sanded the small flaws, another coat of primer, and 3 light coats of DD1 body color.
Backed her into the heated garage to dry overnight.

Maybe "wrong form", but this is where I posted originally about the wrong trunk trim on my '67.
So, I though I just post the final result.
I had been waiting until I repainted the driver's side rear qtr panel, to replace the driver's side tail light.
I didn't want to scuff up the newer tail light.
Just got the car back from the shop yesterday, so installed the new taillight today, and scrubbed up the aluminum insert on the passenger side too.

BEFORE - wrong trim.

AFTER - trim mounting hole welded in; repainted, correct trim, and newer taillights installed.
