68 Valiant to drag car

-
IT is amazing how solid it is !!!!!! If we would have not bought from a member here he was going to crush it because no one was interested in it,I trusted him that he was telling the truth about how solid it was,It spent its life in Georgia and that must be why it is in the shape it's,I mean come on look at the bottom that's factory,I think the best $600 I've spent in a ling time well plus the shipping but I'm blessed to have a solid foundation to do this for my son,The sheet metal has ALOT of issues but remember this is going straight down the track not being restored to factory new conditions,I just hope the mistakes we make (and there will be) don't hurt it too bad--Thanks Guy's Steve

Thanks for the tips guy's the torch and putty knife cut it like butter--All clean good to go--Steve

So the Hotzy didn't work very well? A couple of guys on Moparts swear by them. Theirs are 2000psi and heat the water to 200 degrees. They say it takes around four hours to strip the underside. I was planning on doing this.

Works good on the front but the wheels wells were just crazy hard but the torch is the ticket--Steve

Looking great swifter, I am amazed of how solid this car is and it was going to get smashed/crushed and you saved it and now it is heading for a new life .
I enjoy watching many great builds here and this one is on my list :coffee2:

We also moved the car into my sheet metal shop for the winter--Steve

You (and your son) are a machine. Doing a real detailed job. I'm going to have to be sure to see this car when it's done. I'd love to do a project like that (and will).
