Just saw a trailer for a new show on Peacock called Poker Face with a readhead driving a blue 69 Barracuda!

This is actually the second season of poker face the first one came out a while back. It's actually a pretty good show I thought , not great but fairly entertaining and A body Mopar well that helps.

The problem is it's not a 69 baracuda, it's a 67.
You can tell by the tail lights.
the marker lights, the 67 has none , the 69 has rectangle one in front of the front tires.
And the hood, where the 67 has what looks like the head covers pushing thru the hood, the 69 doesn't have that, instead it has a single ridge in the center of the hood.
My first car was a 67 so this is really bothering me.
I love the show though!

69 doors and interior, side markers were probably bondo'd over. I have had a dozen of each year 67-69 Barracuda and know what to look for. Seats are 69 pattern, doors have the locks in the later position...

Agreed.

1969 Deluxe interior with woodgrain trim and seat medallions

Gas and brake pedal dress up stainless trim

Also, the stripe is 69 only but still may not be original to the car.

Stainless trim around windshield indicated 68 0r 69 only.

1969 rear decklid trim panel.

This could also be an early production 1969 model as no headrests which were federally mandated for 1969 production.

rerun? rerelease?
Not sure how stuff works these days, but it first came out a couple years ago.

I believe early '69 you could option the head rest. Late '69 mandatory head rest.
Actually, headrests were mandatory for any car sold after Jan 1 ,1969.

Optional in 67-68

Here's the mandate as posted on Wikipedia...

"....Optional head restraints began appearing on North American cars in the mid-1960s, and were mandated by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in all new cars sold in the U.S. after January 1, 1969. The U.S. regulation was called Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 202...."

I believe the first season of Pokerface was in 2023. The actress is Natasha Lyonne. The Barracuda appears to be a ‘69 with a ‘67 front clip and other mods per others comments here.
