I have started and work most of the kinks out of my electric steering assist.
I used a 2009 Nissan Versa electric assist motor, 69 stock auto on the floor steering coulum and 69 stock brake pedal assembly. Included pictures of it installed with I remove for powder coat will take more disassembled.

Please describe how it works or interacts with the steering column your pictures leave a lot to the imagination. I'm guessing your car has a manual steering box to be going this route rather than using a stock power steering box.

I am doing a Gen3 Hemi swap. Decided to use a RMS k frame with manual rack and pinion to save space. I got a 2016 5.7 out of a challenger and it doesn't have power steering pump. I saw the other post of the guy doing electric steering assist decided it would be easy. mock up is compete will be removing to take compete pictures of the build.

A brand new, 100% bolt-in Thunderbird power rack (for your RMS) is less than $230 (even cheaper on E-Pay)....while I admire your vision and hot rod initiative, I just gotta ask...why? I see you mentioned space?, but it can't be much more than extra 1/4" in radius power vs manual.

      Just wondering that's all....

Yeah idk everyone payed up for the good k frames and steering and suspension components that did this swap but there are a few that made some custome stuff fit. DIY header kit cleared the steering, as did a jeep srt manifold. So the stock power steering maybe able to stay. Not that I'm cheap ive spent the cash where I can but i don't have big bucks to endlessly throw at this car. This is why it's taken me 5 months to get to this point and the car is at my dads 20miles away so i work on it basically half of the weekends in that 5 months. I'm proud of what ive done so far.
