Hello! Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy New Years. I was interested in this Valiant and I’m here to ask what you guys think of his pricing. He is asking 4500$. I am new to the valiant market and unsure of if this reasonable or not. I may be wrong but I think it’s tiny bit high. I feel a lot more comfortable at 4000$ but maybe that’s also why he posted it at 4500.
Thank you for your time and advice!
Of course seeing it in person will really tell but any help/advice is appreciated

Well prices do increase as time goes on. Plus all newbies want to be flippers and make ton of cash to think they’re doing something. 4500 for a 4 door yes seems pricy I payed 3k for a 68 needs work and 1k for a 69 needed lot of work both 2 doors. You need to feel comfortable with what you want to spend and not regret it or feel that you’re loosing out. But if you’re just buying to get into the market and just get in wait and get what you want no regrets. I have bought cars and wish I waited did more research to get a better car they will come up. Good luck. Jesse

Wasn't one thread about this enough? Go buy it if you want it.
That’s a what I’m saying. Don’t worry about 500. It will cost way more in upgrades, maintenance, repairs then 500. If you’re worried about that kind of money wrong hobby.

S'what I told him in the first thread. I think I suggested Tiddly Winks.

near impossible to give a solid estimation on purchase off one gas station photo and some questionable description from the seller.

to me any 4dr at that price point better be minty. so the whole: needs a headliner and the whole "needs minor things" "needs a tune up" "has this weird tap..." has the price trending downward already.

anything, i repeat ANYTHING you buy is going to need work. it's a mortal lock, so know that going in.

shoot from the hip, with the aforementioned "issues" and whatever the front suspension clunk is i'd say sub 4K

ETA: found it on the books of faces mercado. it's bread and butter manual drum car, column shift, interior appears reasonable except for the headliner. looks like ZERO rust, but it's a factory rubber floor mat so i'd be checking that **** out [it's also tore up, but whatever]. if it's got a clean title and current reg in the seller's name that's 35 all day and 4 if you're in love with it.

Too many doors for my liking, but if it's something you like I sure wouldn't let a measly $500 stop me from getting it. That's pretty close to pocket change it seems these days.

Thank you for your advice personally not looking to flip just collect. But unsure of what the owner’s intentions are as in is he buying and flipping or collecting and it’s time to let something go to work on the rest
