Ii Have A 71 Scamp Current Rear End Is A 7.25 I Want To Swap It For An 8.25 But The 8.25 Is Out Of A Mirada. Anyone Ever Heard Someone Doing This?

The Springs On The Car Were Relocated 3 Inches Inward So All I Have To Do Is Install New Perches On The Axle Housing. Im More Worried About The Over All Length Of The Axle Housing, I May Just Keep The 7.25 In It For Now Till I Can Afford To Build The 8.25 I Have The Right Way.

is it possible? yes. the FMJ rear is the same length as a '68-'70 B body rear so you have to use the proper offset wheels.
