70 bumble bee stripe

Whats the best way to put these rear stripes on a 70 dart swinger. Some of the problem could be around the rear marker light. Thanks ken

Try adding a little dishsoap to some warm water. Spray on body and lay stripes on. Use a plastic squeegee and push water out from the stripe after youve positioned it properly. Work from center, and work your way outward. Any compound curves can be tackled with a heat gun. If you have a buddy in a sign shop, it would help out a lot. Take your time, and good luck.

Remove the marker lights and bezels. The stripes are designed to go into the area where the bezel mounts. Make an "X" where the material goes into the hole and then fold back. As paintman said - use a solution of soapy water plus a little rubbing alcohol.
