Is the sonoco 110 oxygenated? If so the tune up between it and 100ll will be quite different. I’m sure Tim knows this already.

We're making some sonoco 110 tests.
I'll run one out to 6800 for you real quick and post what it says. So far the sonoco is slightly down on power vs av gas.
Wish I had the patience you do....lol

Only dyno time for me will be on a chassis dyno. I couldn't get the engine in the car fast enough once I got it back from the builder. :BangHead::lol:

peak power on this run was at 672.15 @ 5700 rpm.
We ran the **** out to 7100 rpm just for fun & @ 6800 it made 622.99.
So I had a grand total of 49.16 horsepower loss.
From 5700-6800
But I have 4.10 gears on the way so I'll be crossing around 6300 .
Brake specific fuel consumption also.

Yeah that's me Mr patience lol.
My engine is going to get tucked away in a blankie when it gets home until my junky *** car is ready.

Sorry those pictures aren't great.
Correction factor was 9.7 %

Here's a plug, it has a little mmt deposits on the shell and ground strap. .080 light grey ring at the bottom of the porcelain

Running pulls out to 6500.
Here's a gain for the higher end 20 hp just from
.004 tighter lash on the intake.
Next test is tighter exhaust lash .004

Just for my own curiosity, how does the 080 ring on the porcelain correspond to your afr reading?

We made .004 tighter lash on exhaust.
Put the timing into what must be the sweet spot and it picked up new high. 684. 93

Thanks bigga, lol technical issues lol , more like this is what happens when YouTube kicked my *** off....I have to find someone to post a video 3rd party.
Also I took the video with my phone in front of my face to shield myself from a connecting rod flying out

About time. We’re waitin.
Okay Mr I don't care about dyno numbers lol.
And @PRH
Here's the final run from last Wednesday and 1 right before. The 682 number was on 1 more making sure we were at the correct timing, I backed it up 1 degree and it gained 2 HP for which I believe is all it has.
It is a graph of observed HP and torque & correction factor HP and tq. We had nearly an 11% correction as the air, barometer, humidity was suck.

So I’m in the tent for our drawing and didn’t bring my glasses. Just my luck I can’t see the Dyno numbers.
