Is anybody using a 700R4 trans with their gen 3 hemi swap? Is there an adaptor kit out there for that?

Have you considered the 200-4R?
It fits better in an A-body trans tunnel and isn't computer controlled. They can be built to handle up to 1000HP.

I had Extreme Automatics in Ohio build mine with a SFI-approved Reid bellhousing.
They machined the original cast bellhousing off and use the bolt-on Reid bellhousing.
I also had it built as a reverse-pattern, manual shift.

I’m running a 4l60e behind my magnum… it’s just a Computer Controlled 700r4… the only advantage is you have options for bellhousings as they are bolt on vs having to cut it off.

If you get the crazies and want to try and cut yours… I have QuickTime Small block housing that puts the starter on the drivers side. QT also has an 8bolt neutral balanced flex-plate that will mate to the Chevy converter.

This is for another project my father is working on.....not an A body but a 1950 DeSoto convertible. Current running a 360 sbm with the 700R4.
