700R4

Have you considered the 200-4R?
It fits better in an A-body trans tunnel and isn't computer controlled. They can be built to handle up to 1000HP.

We already have e fresh 700 from another build. Is there a kit for the 200?

I had Extreme Automatics in Ohio build mine with a SFI-approved Reid bellhousing.
They machined the original cast bellhousing off and use the bolt-on Reid bellhousing.
I also had it built as a reverse-pattern, manual shift.

The 700r4 isn’t computer controlled either.

I’m running a 4l60e behind my magnum… it’s just a Computer Controlled 700r4… the only advantage is you have options for bellhousings as they are bolt on vs having to cut it off.

If you get the crazies and want to try and cut yours… I have QuickTime Small block housing that puts the starter on the drivers side. QT also has an 8bolt neutral balanced flex-plate that will mate to the Chevy converter.

The 700 is a good transmission and he ALREADY HAS IT. I swear some of yall would f$#k up a wet dream.

I suggest you go back and read what I wrote and then get a towel and clean up your wet dream!

I never said that he should switch to a 4L60e I was suggesting how he could use the 700r4 that he has!

...and I didn't pinpoint you, either!
