71 Dart 360 Test n Tune Saturday..Video

Took the 71 Dart 360 out for TnT as daughter wanted to make some passes and practice on the tree. I had installed taller front tire to help with roll out as the car was redlighting if you left on the last amber..

Took off 165R75x 16 and put on a set of MT 27.5x15 Frontrunners...You could actually tell the difference in weight between the two.

1st video is first run of day...ran 11.160 @ 119.47...
2nd pass was a 11.156 ...at 119+

there was a 3rd pass that the car spund tires and was running hot due to problems on the track caused by another car..

This video i took while after I hosed the radiator down to cool it off for the last pass of the day...I actually walked into the passender side door while filming..

and the last pass of the day....I never expected it to run this as the day was getting warmer..there was no track prep done at all...it was JR Dragster day...LOL

we started the day with the DA at 4000...and it was 4200 at the last pass...

She is good on the tree, you must be proud of her. She doesn't need any practice, she just wanted to drive!

Nice car great driving. What rpm does she shift at, and what is it turning at the finish.

Great what are the specs on your car? I am getting real close to having my 71' on the track and am curious.

car has 8 pt roll bar, frame connectors, ladder bars with coil over shocks

shift light is set at 6400....tach shows 6800 in traps.
 
Sweet Im hoping to get my son in the drivers seat this summer when we get the car together. She does a great job driving. I'm sure she's had some good coaching.
 
Is that her first 10 second run?

If so, tell her congrats. Many more to come I'm sure
 
Nice! That 360 has a great cackling idle and then just roars down the track! I seen it get a bit squirrelly on her off the line but your girl has it well in hand.
