71 duster wiper motor

Wiper motor doesn't have a ballast resister on it as it should. Does anyone know what size I need. I'm seeing online a few different numbers.

Is it a two or three speed? Three speed doesn't get any resistor. I've used standard ignition resistors on the two speed with no issues.

It's a two speed wiper motor... online I'm seeing. Ru04 ru11 ru12... etc. Which one should I use on it. Thx

My 70 Swinger has one on. I had never seen one on a wiper before. Other than reducing voltage, anybody know why they were used?

Correct, your low speed runs through the resistor, high speed does not
