'72 Duster bolt pattern conversion possibilites???

Hi,

New to the forum. We're working on a '72 Duster and have hit a wall, so to speak, in finding any cool aftermarket rims for it due to the 5x4" bolt pattern. Does anyone have any suggestions? We're also considering doing a conversion to a bigger bolt pattern. Has anyone on here ever done that and/or have the list of parts that would work to convert it to a 5x4.5" pattern or something similar? We're wanting to keep it with 14" rims.

Hi & Welcome.
If you are sticking with 14" wheels why not use Rally Wheels?

IMHO they are the best looking factory wheels ever...bar none.

You can get Cragars with the small bolt pattern.

I thought about switching to BBP but there aren't any wheels out there that really made me go ga-ga.

If I did switch out would purchase a set of axles in the back...maybe these...

Maybe a ford 8.8 swap might be what you want?

Jegs sells adapters, they are cheap and safe, have them on my wifes Dart on the front.
Rear has aftermarket axels with large pattern.

Nvm... Forget my last post. I thought he was asking for larger wheels. Yeah, there are quite a few 14" wheels with sbp... You can also try finding some slots that pop up once in awhile.

Change it to big bolt pattern, the brakes are better and cheaper in the long run.

I just got a set of Cragar 2-15x7 and 2-15x8 with 5x4 bolt pattern for my 72 duster went with disc brakes in front had to change from 14 to 15s but bought them from summit racing

I would go to 15s, they look about the same and tire selection is much larger.
