wow cool, its great to have that kind of inspiration around, more so when u have a project on the go :) great job

I have a question about proportioning valves. I am converting over to BBP front disc because the K-H SBP discs were gone when I got the car. Should I use the K-H prop. valve, the '88 5th Ave. prop. valve (the car I got the discs from), or a prop. valve from a 75 Dart that had factory front discs?

The one the calipers came from

I love mopar people! FREE fender dude!

Needs to be cut in half and I'll weld the dog leg of a 74 fender I have on it, but it has the right side marker opening. I also got free hood trim so I'll have the chrome across the front now!

What is the "special"? I have a 1971 Swinger Special and I dont have a clue as to what the special means.

Its really just the cheapest Dart possible. No rocker trim, no drip rail mouldings, no vinyl top (YAY!), no carpet (rubber mat), no wheel well mouldings, no grille mouldings, no tail mouldings, no woodgrain, low price class, cheap interior. BUT!! you did get vinyl side mouldings and you could order a V8 PS disc brakes and A/C (like mine).

And it has Dart emblem on the 1/4 (like in 70) and the Swinger and "Special" badge on the front fender (like 71-76)

Mine is Canadian built

I have a 71 Canadian Swinger 340 Special. The OP is right about the specials being the lowest line of trim. Some got dealer upgrades though. Mine is one of the 25 Crestview cars that got upgraded to carpets and a white interior.

There were a few 72 Swinger Special 340's built for Canada too.

BTW how is the fit on the AMD panels ? I need to order quarters and such.

Garth

Mines a 71 and a 318 from the factory, now has 408 c.i. under the hood!

Nice! PICS! PICS! PICS!
