I'm out here at the pomona swap meet, needed some front disc brakes guy has some for 200 bucks. 5x4 has arms. Discs are rotten. Is it worth it? Would it be cheaper to buy new?

If you are getting the spindles, caliper mounts, and upper control arms, then yes better buy them and fast. You can get the rotors and calipers, but the hard to find stuff isn't the replacement parts, its the mounting hardware. Shoot him a buck and a half, I bet he'll go for it!! Geof

5 on 4" centers is not a '73 setup....it's the earlier Kelsey Hayes, 4 piston caliper, A-body brakes. New rotor plates are cheap and available.

LCA, spindles, rotor cores, calipers and uppers? $200 is worth it, thats a lot of work at a stinky dusty So. Cal Boneyard IF you even find an old Mopar with disks still there.
