i was wondering if anyone knows the stock rear end in a 73' scamp , 7.14? I want to put a 3.55 suregrip 8.75 unit . How many spools would i need?

You have a 7 1/4 rear most likely, all you need is an A body 8 3/4 rear. Or modify an 8 3/4 out of another Mopar to fit. I couldnt resist the spool comment above :snakeman:..........skip the spool and just go with the suregrip for a street car

My '73 Dart has the 7 1/4 with 2.76 gears I believe. Working on putting in an 8 3/4 with 3.23!
