I'm moving into a new house and am not going to have very much time to work on my project anymore. I am going to stick around the community. I love you guys ^^ best car community I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, bar none. I think I would miss the website more than my car. Anyways, I'm looking to get into a slightly less time consuming project.

74 Duster For Sale
Located in: Rolling Fork, MS
Price: I know I high-balled it some in that add. I'm going to keep working on it in the meantime. I was just sort of seeing if anybody would go for it while I put it back together.
Payment Methods Accepted: Cash, preferably. Though, I guess if you were buying it and having it shipped, something might could be worked out with paypal. I have limited experience with the system.

There's a picture and description in the add. Thanks for all the help that everyone has given me over the process of working on this car! I hope one day to find myself back into an A body. I love the cars. Just need to shuffle things around right now.

Carpet's in, lights are fixed. Guages still work intermittently. Either all on at once or all off. So I'm assuming it's a connection issue and not a problem with the gauges themselves. Leak has been tracked. The majority of it is due to a stopped up drains for that vent in front of the windshield. I also have the seals with it to replace the wiper seals.

Paint is bad. I know that. It was some cheap stuff I just shot on to protect the body work and so that it was all one color. Runs good. Front seat and door panels need replacing, but it's fine to drive while it's being worked on.

Comes with some of the stuff to do a quick and dirty swap to new freon. Dryer, fittings, and such.

Lookin for around $4500 obo. Post here or send me a PM if you're interested.

Not yet. I only get to work on the car some weekends, but I feel confident that it's a ground issue since they all work perfectly fine about half the time. I just have to find the time to trace out the bad connection.

And thanks, J4r3d haha.

Excuse my ignorance but where is Clinton, MS? you ever get any pictures of the inside of the trunk and under it like the floor board ?

It's like a suburb of Jackson, the capitol city. I will work on getting those pictures within the next few days.

I took pictures, but have somehow lost them in a meantime. I really need to move this vehicle. I don't have the time of knowledge to fix it's quirks, though minor. It's really only got a lot of small things wrong with it I feel like it's worth the money, I just don't have the time anymore, or the experience required to give it to work it needs. Especially the grounding issues. It needs minor body work. It needs the cowl cleaned. It needs paint. It only has very minor rust. There's a hole in the trunk, under the tire, but it's small. Very small. The passenger floorpan has been replaced. Not very professionally, but it's perfectly functional, and you can't tell it's not stock from the inside. No rust problems on any of the other floorplans that I know of. It does have a little surface rust under it, but it's nothing major. Nothing in the wheel wells. They have a coating in them to prevent it, it seems like. Wheels and tires are fine. Drivable. Not amazing, but I'd imagine most of you would want to replace anyways. Overall solid, factory AC car. 225/6 runs good.

$3,400 obo. Your job to line up shipping methods.

$2,750 is what I paid for it. Since then I've installed carpet, done body work, and fixed the radio and added speakers. It needs to be boosted off right now, but runs fine after that. Needs an alternator most likely. But I'm willing to sell it for that. I don't know how to fix its electrical problems and I have other things I'm interested in now.

Wow!! I forgot all about this car . what does the outside look like? like the quarters and fender. doesn't sound like an alterator .if it was was you took away the jump power the engine would die. I just wish you lived closer. I would run over to my bank and hand you the money now.

I wish I lived closer to other car enthusiasts as well!

Also, I hate to tell you, but the car has been sold as of this morning. It's staying in a mopar family though, Apparently both the guy's dad and grandfather have and have restored dusters of assorted years. So that makes me feel better.

I won't be gone long or far though. I like this site too much. I'll have a new project soon. Just one that's more mechanically sound.
