Does anyone know where or how I could track down a replacement grill for my 76 Dart Sport?? To be more specific, I am looking to replace the rubber/plastic one that came stock with a nice, bright, shiny, metal one. I don't know if I can get one, or if I can get one plated... All input on the matter is much appreciated. Thanks.

Haven't seen anyone doing repros on any Dart grilles. There maybe someone doing the "cheese grater" for the 71 Duster 340. I'm not aware of anyone doing metal renditions of plastic grilles.

The 76 grille is different from the 73. However, I think the "shiny parts" of the grille are anodized aluminum. (They are on the 73, at least.) The rest of the grille was made of a gray plastic and coated with argent paint. (That's what I'm finding in piecing a 72 grille back together.)

You could get your grille "plated" but I think it would be pricey. Try Mr. G's in Fort Worth, TX to get a ball park figure for the service. One of the questions you will want to ask is "How durable is it?".

As far as a replacement, you're in one of the better places. Go down to the Parts Wanted section of this site and let 'em know what you want.
