Had some time tonight waiting on a customer to pick up some parts so i was able to get the fuel pumps mounted. Welded some flanges on the mount i made a while back and drilled some holes into the bottom of the fuel cell frame.

Little update:

Made a bracket and welded it to the car for the pump for the meth injection and got the meth tank plumbed to the pump.

Also have been collecting rebuild parts to get the motor together to go back in the car. Should be ready to send the block to the machine shop in a few weeks.

Ive also been spending some time on my cylinder head project. I am almost ready to post pictures of what ive been doing but want to get them to a more refined state before i post the pics of that project. Stay tuned!

Update. In the process of rebuilding my transmission. Waiting on a few small parts to finish up. Will be air checking everything tomorrow.

Trans is a 904, 5 thins in the direct, raybestos grey frictions, kevlar bands, sonnax super servo, stiffer servo return spring, homemade spring retainer from original servo, new pump gears, rollers and springs, ati reverse wound direct return spring, tranzact rmvb with low band apply, and a converter from american performance engineering.

Also putting a 904 together for the wifes aspen at the same time. Similar parts, just with a transgo hd2 and used 3k converter. Hers is the silver trans, going into a 78 aspen with a carbed 5.9 mag.

Once this is wrapped up ill be picking up the block and heads from the machine shop to start assembling the long block.

Transmissions are rebuilt, one of them is in the wifes car, the other is waiting for me to finish the turbo motor. I have a short block assembled, just have to get a set of heads.

Conquest was put on the back burner to get her car going and rebuild the 5.9 that bent a rod in my dakota

Hope you continue with this....

Lots of good stuff going on here.....

I finally wrapped up the porting on my heads, they are now getting a valve job done, then i will be setting up valvetrain geometry, and final assembly of the engine. Plan to stick everything back into the car after the holidays.

Here is the thread talking about the port job. when i get my heads back from the machine shop ill post some finished port pictures.

Porting my edelbrock heads, how do they look?

Made some more progress finally. Got my b3 kit in, pushrods ordered, final clearance on the heads, milled the intake for proper alignment, assembled the motor and put it in the car for good. Next up is plumbing and wiring.

is there a benefit to that, or is that just what you had on hand?

Car and engine are looking great. Are you going to be useing the factory magnum Alternator?

yes, ill have to make a bracket to mount it off the drivers side head.
Sorry I wasn't sure if you was useing the factory magnum belt set up or not. Because if you was the magnum Alternator will not clear those valve covers with out some massaging. I had mod mine to get the alt Battery + terminal enough room to clear the valve cover. Still ended up also having to cut the 12V terminal down.
