i took this out of a junk car years ago, and i cant remember what car i got it out of. my question is...is this out of an earlier a body ( up to 1972 ) or later ( 1973-later ) i thinking about putting this in my 1973 scamp ( a/c car )

If you move that house next to you out of the way I might be able to see it from here, but I doubt it. :D
 
Best I can guess with what you gave us is that it fits a 1962 Valiant w/ factory air.

what kind of answer did you expect?-- only you have a visual of this mysterious heater box.

look in the for sale threads & match up your box with pictures of ones for sale-- that should narrow it down.

Btw last time (years ago) I checked you could get a blower motor for the 62 valiant with a/c but not for the heater only option-- go figure.
