Ok so I'm new to all of this. I recently got a 67 Dart and am currently working to get it on the road. I am looking for new rims to accommodate 16" tires. They have a relatively low profile so hitting the wells isn't an issue. I don't have a lot of dough for the project just yet, but I need it as a runner. The rims that the tires are on now is from a 98 Cavalier (piece of crap I'm getting rid of...)that happens to have the same bolt pattern as the Dart, the problem to just transfer them over is the offset. Does anybody know a company in Canada that may sell rims for older cars and that has a reference/catalogue to solve the sizing issue? Or better yet does anybody know of a car model that has the same bolt pattern (5x4.5) that is current enough (1983+) that I could reference some simple steel rims for the 16" tires? I have 225/70/15's for the rear of sons 74 swinger, planned on staying with 14's on the front. What year is your car, what width are your wheels, stock suspension? Thanks. The 225's on the rear are rubbing, think they might be on a 8" wide rim.

Rear= 17x8 with 5.4" backspace (5.72 - .312 spacer) 245/45x17 all four.

Im running chevy western wheels (torque thrust look alikes) backspace unkown?14 x8's on a 245/60/14 bfg ta. No rubbing with stock leaf springs, and 8 3/4 rear cheapie gabriel coilovers. It wasnt a stock a-body rear but dont know the length. 2" inch lowering blocks for the look. Sorry no pics due to no camera, but i have pics on facebook if anyone wants ta see. It now has springs relocated, Now i just need 12" wide wheels! Oh front's are 195/85/14 black steel wheels (temporary use) has a nice stance too!

I think the year and body style definitely needs to be part of this. A 63 Dart is far different than a 73 Dart Sport.

Update on my set up
got fronts 155x60Rx15 BF Goodrich 15x4's on hotshot rims
backs are255x 60'sx15 M/T's on 15x8's 4.5 BS steel rims
all have been powder coated black

I bought these from a friend so I am unsure of the back spacing..

15x4 inch rallys with 165 80r15s up front.

15x8 inch rallys with 255 60r15s out back.

All small bolt pattern.

No mods to leaf springs, but being a wagon has more room because of wheel arches.
