A833 Shift tab interchange (van to a body)

Just picked up a Hurst shifter and linkage from an '82 van at my local pick and pull. I'm hoping to adapt this shift linkage to one of the a833s I have.
Will van a833 and A body shift tabs interchange? The shift linkage is clearly different, but maybe the tabs are the same.

Not too sure..... but the van would have been an OD 4 speed. The 3/4 tab is most likely different as it points down instead of up. Did there happen to be a lower bellhousing cover and clutch fork on the van?

The shifter box itself (Hurst competition plus) was a good score. The shift handle is different but you should be able to use any clip (push) in hurst handle with it. The adapter plate that bolts the shifter mechanism to the trans is completely different.

I have an OD a833 sitting in my garage, so hopefully it will work with just some macgyvering of the shift rods.
I was beyond stoked when I walked out of there with shifter, handle, rods and tabs for $4!!
At the time I was there cover and clutch fork were still there.

I am gathering parts for the same type of thing..... I have a trans and sb bell but need the fork (ball pivot style), lower cover and starter tin. Is it a sb van? PM me if you are going back and want to help a brother out......

I think the bellhousing cover and fork are the same. I will send you a pm.
