Low power in heating / ac

I am wondering if a new blower motor is all I will need to get proper functioning out of my system.

I replaced the fuse and it started working just has very low blowing power right now.

Well..........troubleshoot it..........

FIRST thing to do is get to the junction "right at the motor" and put a meter on there in "high." See if it's getting "full voltage" lacking that, run a jumper wire from a solid battery source to the motor.

Might also be possible the motor is so rusty it's lost grounding.

Otherwise, step by step check. With switch in high, check voltage on both sides of fuse. Should be "close to" battery voltage. If V is low at motor connection, but OK at fuse clips, time to dig under the dash, get your hands "actually" dirty, and yank the switch out of there.

And then theres the mechanical stuff
Like is the heater core plugged with leaves, debris, or other? Are the air doors operational and adjusted right?

Good lord YES. Dragging motor bearings, leaves and other trash in the blower, etc

Is there a service manual for 71 Swinger on the AC?
Mine is doing the same thing and I ve already replaced the AC controls but pulled A LOT of debris from the vent doors.
Id like to pull the air box and see if I can replace anything.
