advise needed

65 Barracuda Formula S stock. The car has been converted to dual exhaust. The dual pipes look to me like they may impair the air flow as the pipe is bent to curve under the cross member on the passenger side. Any opinions on going back to the original stock single exhaust? This is a street car, not a race car. I am keeping it as stock as possible. I'm not crazy about spending $1000 for the original exhaust, but---

Well Tommy, how bout this?? I make the crossmember conversion units to allow the passenger side exhaust to pass "through" the crossmember! Here's a pic of one mocked up but not finished yet! Interested? I sell them for $75, but will knock $10 off the price and pay the return shipping if you'll send me your old uncut one! Lots of happy customers here using them! Geof, I really think I would like to go back to the hipo exhaust. The pipes I have came with the car and have the dip in the passenger side. Thanks anyway.
