I found perfect a perfect fit vintage autometer tach that fits the plug blank perfectly....just cut face off blank and remove tach from housing and insert it in plug...

Actually Jeff I just replace all the wood grain with new and I lucked out with finding this new chrome paint that Revell model car makes

Most is it really reflective you can actually read the newspaper in this stuff

40 bucks wells spent.., I used to pay that for one ounce in 1982. LOL It has a nice finish. you did a nice job on that woodgrain as well...looks factory or better.

Well shoot
Something more to do to these instrument panels. A man could spend his winter modifying a virgin. Not this man. I'll stay with the current vacuum gauge.
This is a nice looking mod.
Best part is someone else fingered it out.
With links to fuse clips, bulkhead terminals, any other materials req'd, pics of clean dependable wiring installation, etc,,,
a "how to" post would be a very welcome addition here. Happy moparing
ps, vendors may see a run on those tachs LOL

I have several of those vacuum performance gauges for sale if you need any more and they are tested!!

DO YOU MIND TELLING US what brand and model this is? Someone already asked you that.

And I already answered it part number 870 or 370 Auto Meter...she's vintage for shure....I see Stewart Warnerhas a side sweep one still in production that looks bout the same and it will work
