Alternators,,, are they worth saving?

I have had these two alternators stored for the last 13 years. Are they worth saving? Are they of any value?

and if they work, always good for backup.

if the casings haven't been sandblasted, that's a plus for someone wanting an original look.
As far as date codes - there's a casting date for each 'end shield' housing and there's probably an assembly date stamped under the part number. Always fun to see whats there.
 

I've got at least 5 stashed....you never know, plus.....I doubt if they're worth a big dollar amount. Depends on how valuable your space is, I guess.
 
These days it is hard to get alternators in stock amperage that matches the rest of stock wiring system. After looking for months, I went to a rebuilding service that turned out my old unit, completely rewound in the original amp rating at a great price. I even tried to take a new 100 amp unit in and get it toned down, but evidently that's really expensive to do... go figure.
 
I might be interested in the round back if you decide to sell. Let us know. Certainly it's worth something.
