Lol. My kick down linkage on my 65 Barracuda was held together with duct tape. Serioulsy I have found so much bailing wire holding stuff together. Bolts left loose, like the idler arm.

wth ? good lord, someone was desperate to keep that thing on the road. im suprised that thing didnt crumble apart and burst into flames..pure ugliness
 
Strip it all out & buy an "easy wiring harness". I got mine from "Summit". Good Luck!!
 
'Least it's not 120/240 or worse. That IS pretty bad...............
 
I think the same dude that done the wiring worked on my Jeep. Or went to the same school as the guy who did.
 
Dang,that's some ugly work done there..........................hope they weren't a brain surgeon.
