I don't know what this guys smokin', but it must be good. $25 large...AND a reserve???? Look at the engine pics...what a dog's breakfast. An '83 318??? Nice spray-painted dash, engine compartment and leaf springs...and the hokey door speakers...geez.

I guess this guy doesnt know there's a recession on, eh??

He needs to look at the other auctions running, and reconsider his price.

Just my opinion...

I really don't think you could find any better hood scoops for $25,000 ....... do you? :bootysha: LOL!
Matt

WOW! Wron out rear springs, unfinished pain in the engine bay, etc......
List goes on and on.

Oh ....my......uuuhhhhm(scratchin my noggin)wha's up with the scoops?maybe the price is wrong too?

Like so many other cars/parts we have seen on ebay, the seller gets to ask whatever he wants and it's up to some numb nut to buy it. BTW: I have a feeling that one bid on it is a shill. Although, that bidder has had three bid retractions in the past 6 months.

When I was younger if I went to look at a car and it had spring shackles that cut the price in half right there

That's a fine job and a bitchin' car in redneck Chevyland. Think this one fits the bill since it has a GM alternator. That nobody seemed to notice yet.

I was going to post this one for discussion but laughed so hard each time I saw it I couldn't bring myself to do it...crazy!

I always liked shackels, reminded of that Clint Eastwood movie where the guy picked em up in the old Mopar with shackles and the exhaust running into the car. When he popped the trunk about a dozen white rabbits came pouring out. I wonder if this guy has white rabbits too? Movie: Thunderbolt and Light Foot, Joe.

I would say that car would fetch about $7500 up here (canada) and thats if its rust free.

south of the boarder...maybe $5,000 on a good day.

Realisticly, its NOT worth $25K...but its a good solid start. with $300 set of springs, and $3000 detail job, and...? It could be worth $12,000.

thats only a $13000 loss. not bad in todays market right?

Phil

Yeah, I'd hate to go around a corner a bit too fast with those shackles on there huh?

If this guy has an actual bid at 25 grand, he should JUMP on it as fast as his widdle fingers can carry him!
