Hello all
Last week I bought a 72 Dart Swinger. When I was 20 (4 decades ago) my wife and I owned a 71 Barracuda base convertible that we had to sell when we were broke. Several years ago I got my first collectible car, a 69 Camaro base convertible. In the meantime I've bought a C6 Z06 Vette, and an 82 Capri 5.0 foxbody, but have been on the lookout for a suitable E body MOPAR (71 Barracuda or 'Cuda preferrably, the best grille IMHO) in the meantime. This Dart came up for sale close to me, and I took a chance, and now I'm finding all the things the seller failed to disclose. Needs Z bar rebuilt and power steering box replaced to make it driveable. I bought it not running knowing there's an ignition issue, which I resolved with an HEI distributor, and it runs well enough for now. Pleased as hell to be back in the MOPAR fold. Looking forward to sharing knowledge with those of you who have been keeping 'em running for years.
