Another wacky eBayer

He's full of it because you can get those out of any salvage yard that has older cars.
The slot style A body jack must be ULTRA, ULTRA RARE and worth way more than that.

Suprised he didn't try to use the "Hemi" word and ask 1,000 for it. :D

Wacko!

And some plus $ 200 just to get it delivered here (Sweden, Europe).

Well, in his defense, I believe he is correct on the one year only.

That would indeed make it sorta rare, and pricey.

Maybe Lance will jump in here, he might know fer sure.

i would totally buy it just to display it as "garage art" way too rare to actually use it

Some of those guys might be hoping that someone overseas just clicks "buy it now" without thinking thru the exchange rate.

I have to have it to complete my Mopar... wait its only for a Charger.. but it completes my Mopar... but its only for a Charger... Damn it, Im confused!

I think every 69 70 71 C body ive ever owned had that exact jack. ive probably tossed 4 or 5 that looked just like that. even my 70 coronets had those in the trunk. maybe its a "barn find" or "matching numbers" bumper jack

And the jack isn't even complete. But has free shipping

There are some great prices on the hub caps, because . . . they don't make them anymore

No, no, no , the seller is way abow his head! I did a short calculation and come to the conclusion that IF, in capitals, IF anyone abroad might buy it you are etheir collector of that or looser. I would never ever pay $ 200 just in toll and package. But that's just me.

I thought a Charger was a B body. :???:

I have a neighbor that prices his items stupid like that on ebay
so no one will bid on anything. Let's the interested contact him and sells his items after auction ends without the ebay fees for at a more reasonable price.
I've even heard him complain when a buyer did the buy it now
without trying to contact him first. He had to pay the fees.
That just made him price his items more unreasonable.
He had gotten into a futile argument with them over the shipping cost fees and swore to never give ebay another cent.
Didn't really work out that way that particular time for him.
Not everything you see on eBay is as it seems.

Yep-and these threads give even more traction to the sale. I put some rear glass trim on e bay then looked on here and had a bunch of cheap guys whinning about it,ended up selling two sets with all the publicity!

Just add the word RARE to any listing and that just gives an excuse to put crazy money on it.

To the Guy with the hemi engine BAHAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

I personally figure if I have a jack that will safely lift my car, then good. but different models with different shaped bumpers took different shaped hooks, all of which had a mopar part number. some jack hooks are for 1 yr only and can cost $100 for the hook. I wouldn't give that. I have a chevy hook I took the torch to so it would work! LOL
the 72 up A bodys that had the slot in the bumper took a pretty common jack no doubt, and therefore plentiful and cheap.
kinda like seats, the 70 charger's bucket was a one year seat. can be sorta hard to find maybe. and worth more than some other seats. not rare just hard to find?
