I've seen them five times so far,the best being a small venue here in Atlanta with about 250 people in 1993.A couple years ago I met a guy with a lot of live recordings and he sent me a copy of that show and some others.I was about ten feet from Maynard the whole show and I can even hear myself on the recording between songs.I listen to pretty much anything but I am really only semi-fanatical when it comes to TOOL ,I will own everything they put out and see them anytime I get a chance.I've only missed one local show so far...They were big on the radio that tour and they played a small venue to top it off (Aenima tour),I couldn't get off work to get tickets so I hired two friends to stand in seperate lines,one was third in line,the other fourth and neither got tickets.As a strange twist of fate I actually ended up discussing it with Adam Jones a couple weeks after,I told him about it and said I wished they would come back and not advertise it so heavily because so many die hard fans got no tickets....not to say it was me that did it,but about a month later they played Phillips Arena with VERY little advertising.It was just a few days before my birthday to make it even sweeter,my wife was 8 months pregnant but she managed to get us seats in a local radio station's suite so we could still go.It was unbelievable but still not as good a the small show.

I've seen Rush too,and they are awesome but TOOL are right up there with them as far as musicianship...if you don't know,you're missing out.
