A couple more. It's hard to say no to a straight axle under a early altered wheel base car. Those cars went from gas powered to injected and then to fuel with injection then blowers. The cars then quickly changed to Funny Cars with flip top bodies. tmm

Never saw a Street 65 Cuda Gasser, kinda freaky. Great photos, the Black 65 Dart is the COOLEST, but the Hairy Canary is the best. Anytime somebody turns a Valiant into a tubed Drag Car, it always turns out WICKED, MEAN & NASTY. :evil:

Gassers are Cool but as some stated by some one they are not good for long trips . Years ago I rode in one with a straight axle that was put in correctly and was still a white knuckle ride and I was in the passenger seat . Love the looks of the old funny cars and AFX cars . So I am trying to build one . I grew up in NC near Piedmont Drag strip and got a chance to see a lot of the greats run , Sox & Martin , Richard Petty and so on. JUst thought I would share a few pic,s sorry no straight axle. Enjoy pic.s let me know what you think.
