Scott, you did not mention battery type or CCA. I use the Optima yellow top. [biggest CCA I can get] At this time I have not used a charging system at all. Now I will admit I do charge my battery between rounds. I have a nice anderson plug system hooked to my back bumper, so it is a snap and done. I also monitor the voltage of my battery. I have a volt meter in the trunk and one on the dash. I am thinking of installing an alternator this year to reduce the "busy work" between rounds. My real problem is I get beat by 3 or 4th round....then my battery is not a problem! Driver is! Ouch...the truth hurts!
