Anybody talk to someone at National Moparts lately?

For the Canadians…I ordered something a couple of weeks ago and haven't heard from them via email except from an auto confirmation. E-mails and calls aren't answered and their phone message box is full. I know it’s a small company but something is going on.

I talked to Nigel last Friday! He mentioned they were epecting freezing rain on the weekend. Looks like they are still having weather issues and perhaps no electricity.

Ah yes. They got the freezing rain and we got a foot of snow recently.

That neck of the woods is in a state of emergency. No power for the last few days. Trees down everywhere.

I think I am going to give up on these guys. I left a message a couple of weeks ago and nobody called back. I talked to a woman there who couldn't tell me if they had a part in stock or not and said she would call back and did not. Previously I placed orders and nobody will respond to emails about what delivery is....its a guessing game as to whether they have parts or not, so I want to talk with somebody first. Good luck. Today I get cut off and then phone back an hour later to be told they have phone problems now. Any place in Canada stock Steele Rubber products? I might have to go back to Classic Industries.

I get your frustration and don't blame ya but I know that they are there and it's very busy all the time. I'm approximately 1.5 hrs away and I'm lucky to be able to just drive up and get what I need. My suggestion is to keep calling eventually you'll get through. Emails I wouldn't bother. If you choose to go elsewhere I wouldn't blame yah. The only reason I'm suggesting to keep trying is because of the border brokerage along with the ever changing taffif rules. One day auto parts are taxed (tarrif) next they're not. Anyway Nigel has been around for 30 plus years that I'm aware of and i know he's still operating. Wishing you luck.

Talk to Nig most days of the week... damn near everything now has a 25% tariff attached bringing it into Canada. He's pulling his hair out... but they are there!

Nigel did get back to me after I provided some feedback. I guess they are busy and have problems but I need parts I'm a little edgy after having difficulties getting parts lately. One guy (on this forum) would say he has the parts I need, take a week to get back to me with pics on half my request and then take another week to respond with prices and then ship me the wrong part. Anyway the heat is off now as I'm not going to get her done this summer. The good news is I have all winter to get all the details sorted out.

I decided to try them again as they have come through before for me and there seems to be a lot of support here. They also carry some good parts like stuff from DMT. Nigel got back to me this morning with the eta as requested. It was a close call as I almost called RPM
