Anyone else going to see Skynyrd at Rockfest in Belleville??

Lori scored a pair of tickets to see Skynyrd this Friday in Belleville. I AM SO STOKED!!! Havent decided whether we are gonna upgrade to the VIP(very intoxicated person) section or not. I think a hotel room may be in order.:rock: Or at least set aside some bail money!! They are playing the night before at Casino Rama, but you cant drink in the auditorium. Gotta guzzle in the hallway outside the auditorium. I cant watch these guys and not have a beer or whisky!! Glad we held out and heard they were coming to Belleville as part of Rockfest. I have only seen them once before with Kid Rock and we got there late. Caught there last 3 songs, then between Skynyrd and Kid Rock they closed the bar!! Man talk about pi$$ed!! Kid Rock was awesome, sucks he is on tour up here with Bon Jovi... WTF?? Bon Jovi?? Skynyrd is my all time favorite this is going to be a blast! Lori and I have been together 2 years on Monday so this is awesome!! Is there any other FABO members going??

I saw them last month in Kansas City. Great show! I work at the venue and had as much fun crowd watching between the acts! FREEBIRD!!!!!

I first saw Skynard just weeks after the release of Second Helping, New Years Eve 1974, ( now that was a show! ). Then again a few hours before the plane crash. Many of us original fans feel the new Skynard should be called a tribute band under a different name. Keeping Artimus Pyle in the new band might have made a difference ( dunno ). I heard he just turned 62 ? Old rockers LOL Anyway...
I imagine Johnnys' band puts on a decent show and I hope you enjoy it.

Should be a good one Steve,I start Hollidays on the Thursday nigh and we are seeing Alice Cooper.I ask Cin who she would like to see and he was her pick.
