Anyone have problem with this fram fuel filter?

I am running one of these and was wondering how often the paper cartridge should be changed out.

I know they are easy as hell to change especially if you install a fuel shut off valve right before them in line but just wondering if this filter is really any good.

depends on where you get your fuel. most of mine comes out of a drum. so it lasts quite awhile.

We have the same filters on the race cars and change the elements every season, but then again we only use race gas and don't put near the miles on that a street car would. Ours are used as primary filters right between the fuel tank and the electric pump. We have secondary filter between the pump and regulator also.

I am sure WIX has a compatible part number. You might need to remove it and take it to a GOOD parts store, but I bet there's one in the WIX catalog.
