anyone having problems after SP2 update for WinXP??

ever since I installed the update, my computer locks up quite often when I am using internet explorer

anyone else experiencing this?

Actually, that doesn't surprise me in the least. I just updated my kids computers today to SP2. I guess next time they come over I'll hear about it.

Go download some anti-spyware software and scan your system, you may be surprised. I was when I scanned mine.

Does it keep locking up on the same websites all the time or is it pretty random?

randomly on the same....if that makes sense

I WAS surprised at the spyware i found.....i think a lot of it is cookies, but I have SAHAgent, Cydoor, EUniverse, TrojanDownloader, Twain-Tech, and VX2.....

guess i'll be working at correcting this today.........

Did you down load all the appropriate fixes before you down
loaded xp-2?
I didn't at first. I had to remove -2 do all the downloads before install
and reinstall. still not 100% but much much better.

I have noticed the same thing. I keep everything uptodate on my computer and had no problems with sp2. Most of the people I know who have had problems with sp2 had problems before they loaded it anyways.
