Anyone here like Led Zeppelin?

I was lucky enough to get to see Zeppelin in 1975 in Fort Worth Texas in the Tarrant County Convention Center. No back up bands. Still have the ticket stub. My brother still has his concert t-shirt.

Like Zep... Some of the not so oft played stuff like off Presence

Change the station every time "stairway" comes on. One song I've heard too many times.
Presence is a very cool album I love Achilles Last Stand. I still Listen to Stairway everytime it is played. It's timeless.

I'm uploading 600 megabytes of Zep to a server right now so I'll post back when I can, when it's ready for download and post a link.
I'll post it as You Zep Freaks the general off topic section.

I'll post that it's ready here too.

Zep 1 is old school late 60's rock and blues
Zep 11 is their ultimate rock album
Zep 111 had a lot of acoustic, folk influences
Zep !V is total arena rock!

YES!!!!
"get the Led out" 3 songs baby!!!

That sums it up right there !

I like lots of Zeppelin songs ; however , I despise the ones which are played ad nauseum on the fledgling radio stations !

To name a couple of my faves :
- Trampled Under Foot
- In The Evening
- Travelling Riverside Blues
- Ocean

I DO, I DO, I DO!!!! Our station plays what they call the Zep Set on i think its Fridays or something like that.

I posted yesterday that I would upload this, so here it is.
Here's 86 Zeplin songs in a zip file.

http://www.letsgocomputers.com/music/zep.zip

This is about 600 megabytes and will take a bit to download, but well worth it if you like Zeplin.
For those that do not know how to deal with zip files look for "Extract All" when you open it, and be sure to notice where they are being unzipped too.

So much that I played drums in a LZ coverband for a couple of years. Femals lead singer. And she was hot. We called her Heather Plant.

Them and Pink Floyd my favorites. Real music, real instruments, real voices not this stinking mindless "noise" they call music today. Whenever I travel I've got about 15 discs full of my favorites just turn the stinking radio with their BS commercials OFF.

Ditto on the Favs, but I reverse the order ! Pink Floyd is my #1 !!! Ahhhh, flashbacks !!!Puff puff pass !!!!:D

I like them well enough, can't deny their legacy and impact. Certain songs I like better than others, but they never put out anything I couldn't-at the very least- tolerate.

Robert Palmer and Alison Krauss played Marymoor Park here about 3 1/2 years ago...it's onlt a few miles from my house, and you could hear it perfectly in 1/2 of the park
