Anyone Into Stereos?

Looking at new stereos for my Ram, Not looking for super expensive, $150 or so, maybe a little more, but I want something with a front input for my MP3 player, rear inputs for my amp and subs, but also I want to hook up my new Satellite receiver to it rather than using the FM transmitter, is this possible? Any reccomendations? Is it even possible to wire the satellite right to the head unit?

Im into it a little, I just got a stereo system installed in my 05 ram. but i spent 700 dollars! You can get good speakers amps and head units off of ebay. Pioneer and Sony make headunits for like 80 dollars with the front input that you want. (for your ipod or whatever) check out : www.pioneerelectronics.com

depending on what year ram you have you can find decent speakers for like 75 dollars or so as well. look at infinity pioneer or sony speakers.

i but all my stereos from crutchfield,they even have scratch and dent.all stereos come with install kits and wire connectors that are vehicle specific.ther tech guys are verry good.last year i bought a 400 dollar kenwood with sirius already in it for 100 bucks cuz the remote was missing.

also wal mart sells head units with xm in them for about 100-150 bucks.

I have a Sony CDX GT-400 in my Dart. It has front input for mp3/Satellite or whatever you want to plug in, it will also play mp3 burned on a cd. I like the it a lot. IIRC it was about $150 or so.

Thanks guys, I have my amp, speakers and satellite already so I just need a head unit, I just didnt know if anyone offered an input on the back for the satellite to keep the front one open for the MP3 player...

the reason i mentioned the head unit w satalite in it was because it really cleans up the dash area, no wires or mounting of the sat unit.i have had them both and i like the in dash much better.

The thing I like about the Sony I recommended is you don't need the Mp3 player, it reads Mp3's burned on to a CD.
