Is that a 417 block?
Have you had the block checked for cracks/defects!! You don't want to order sleeves for a boat anchor??I guess i will be making a call to Darton tomorrow to see if I can get some sleeves.
Those things had wet sleeves that I recon are nearly impossible to keep from getting water in the oil. But if the bed carrier hasn’t been cut apart to make bearing changes quicker they are strong on the level of Keith Black blocks. I’m thinking you could use A/B epoxy filler in the bottom of the water jackets to get one to seal. What’s your intended application for that?
