I want to add ac to my 'Cuda but don't like the way it looks with the compressor top dead center on the engine.

Does anyone know of a bracket to relocate the compressor?

40+ years later the factory is still mounting the compumper in same place. Just aint another place for it. I once got the idea to first install electric fuel pump, delete the mechanical pump, mount compumper down there. Later I realized that down low location like modern front wheel drive vehicles have requires a whole lot of splash shields.

Buchillion makes a below alternator mounting kit for big blocks, but you do have to run an electric pump. I used their kit on my e-body and altered the belt path to gain more belt wrap around the compressor. They may have brackets for small blocks too?
