I picked up a '72 four door Valiant, and I'm looking for some parts. The list is fairly long, so I thought it might just be easier to find someone parting one out.

Included but limited to this list is some of what I need off the top of my head:
steering box
dash/cluster
door cards
rear window chrome trim
all exterior emblems
center drag link

Anyone out there got what I need? Southwest USA preferred. Thanks FABO!

Steering box, manual or power?

And on your list, the only 4-door specific parts are the door cards and rear window trim, same as 4-door Dart also. (so 2-door parts will work for the rest)

For the drag link, /6 engine or V-8 ?

Okay, here's where my ignorance might get me into trouble. The car is currently a roller and without any steering at all, so I think it doesn't matter whether power or manual? Unless the mounts are different? I really just want to be able to steer it when I have to move it until it's built, but when it is actually built, I'd like to end up with power. Hope that makes sense.

And thanks for the info. I have a parts interchange guide at home, I suppose I could've referenced that before posting here. I had a hunch there were lots of parts that crossed over from other cars.

Princess Valiant took all my Valiants. However, I do have parts if you want to travel up to Phoenix.

O.K. Here's some pictures

And, here are some more. I would classify all this stuff as "very nice driver" quality. The Drivers door panel understandably shows the most wear, (I included 2 close ups of it's defects) but it still pretty nice for 50 years old. The creases and such you see in the photos are from being stacked in a trunk full of stuff, I expect some time in a warmer locale (It's 42 in my garage) and they'll come out just fine. The chrome (and the rest) supposedly came from a 72 - 4-door Valiant but I didn't pull any of this, it all came with another car I bought. I was told of it's origin by the seller, I do not know for certain myself - so my feelings will not be hurt if someone points out it came from something else.
Let me know via PM what if any of this stuff you're interested in and I'll come up with a price.

I had planned to take this stuff and a bunch more to Carlisle as I prefer to deal face to face when possible but now that I've drug it out and taken pictures whatever Righty Tighty doesn't make a deal on will probably show up in the classifieds. I will not sell it to anyone else who asks about it based on this post in his thread.
