Anyone Running 215/70-15 tire on the front of a Duster?
I want to run this size on my Duster. Will they hit

i know it's not apples to apples, but i'm running 215/70-15's on my 69 fastback. 73~76 front suspension, 15X7 cop wheels w/ 4.25 backspace.

i'm very low, so the top of the fender/wheel lip trim is a concern, but zero clearance issues other than that. if you're near(ish) factory ride height you should be fine and dandy.

205/65-15 on notchback Barracuda. Rubs on bottom lip drivers side on right hand turn. Passenger side has no issues.
edit: 15x7 4 inch backspacing.

I have p215/60-r15 on my 72 Demon with 73-74 front end on ralley wheels I bought aftermarket. Stockton wheels I believe they are. They clear well but much taller would be close. I hope I was able to help. I at this time do not know the back space. Summit sold them and told me what would fit and what rims and tires were available for my set up.

Assuming the duster did not change the wheel opening from 67 dart.

I run 215/70-14 with no clearance issues.

The 15" will be 1/2 " bigger all the way around.

And I'm real close to that on the front end of the front fender opening at a point in a turn at ride height. A little closer at compression.

Thumb for reference

71 340 duster, 14" sbp rallys (5.5 wide), ran 225x70 14". Never had an issue. Now have 235x60 15" sbp (7" wide) iirc 4.25 bs ? No issues there either. Picture is with 15" all way around.

Your 60 series are only 0.200 taller than 215 / 70 -14

Op was asking about 215/70 15 which are 1 inch taller

Sorry to jump on late but I have a question.
Does anyone have a pic of their 73/74 Dart sport wearing 15 X 6 1/2 with 5" back spacing (3699461 rallye wheel) that has 215/65/15 tires on it. I think the 215/70/15 might be a little too tall. Little help please! Thanks Ray

Mine has Bfgs 215/70/15's on the front. Rub on passenger side when backing and turning at full lock. Drivers side perfectly fine but passenger on full lock reverse is iffy. I raised the torsion bars which helped and still small slight rub. Going to 215/65/15's next tire change for fronts. Suppose to be perfect size i have gathered with zero issues and i think would be perfect.

Currently have 215/70/15s front and rears are 275/60/15s bfgs. When i change the tires out next going to Cooper cobra 215/65/15s front and rears 255/60/15s. I think this will have zero issues all around/fit nicely and have great look on the car with not being overkill and fit body nicely...

Does anyone know where I could get 15x7 slotted rims for a 69' Dart.
The set I tried to mount has the wrong backspacing/offset, 3 inch.
Also, it has BBP and Disc brakes in the front. I can't find anything that'll fit!
The tire guy that mounted them said i can never put slotted rims on this car,
is there any truth in what he said?
Would 14" rims fit on a BBP 4.5 and would it work with the Disc brakes?
New to this, any help appreciated.
