Just looked up W2 stuff since i never have.... not near as bad as i expected.. kind of amazing they have kept making them as long as they have

I’m pretty sure there is no W2 stuff in production in the last 15-20 years. Anything available now is NOS or used. They don’t make them anymore.

Ah my mistake Jegs and summit both have shipping dates in june for them.. the 48 degree ones though..

If I had room for those heads, the P5's would have been my choice. I'm kinda lookin' for a SBM-look, though. The mopar stuff is almost vaporware, and their quality has been iffy at times.
I went with the Indy stuff, just because I figured it'll probably be around as long as I am. Gave up some CFM, for future availability. I'm not looking to be the top horsepower-king...just something that resembles a nice little SBM. My particular engine has a top-end, that won't support peak HP for the cubes. It's fine, as I'm keeping it under the hood of my all steel car.

I was probably a little over-zealous on my estimation too. It's probably closer to 10 years that they've been out of production? Getting harder to find for sure.
I'd love to have the block and all the other stuff to support a 48 degree head but alas, it is not meant to be.

only way to do it is to buy a complete used engine. I bought the engine complete and went through it. All that was needed was the usual maintenance parts.
