Are 1-bolt and 3-bolt camshafts directly interchangeable?

I am doing a swap on my Magnum (Brazilian variant of the Dart) to a Big Block B 383, which will also have a blower. However, I am having trouble finding supercharger performance camshafts for it, as the original is 1-bolt. Crower makes the part number models 32980 and 32981, but they only produce 3-bolt versions, not 1-bolt. Can I buy a 3-bolt camshaft and a 3-bolt timing gear set and adapt them normally or will need work on the engine block?

You'll of course have to use the corresponding timing set, but yup. Bolt in swap.

1-bolt and 3-bolt timing sets are identical other than the number of attaching bolts.

A stock OEM 1-bolt works fine with the limited RPMs and spring pressures used.

Once you start getting heavy vale spring pressures and extended RPMs you use a 3-bolt because there's a good chance a single bolt will snap.
