Are 66 barracuda & 67 Dart steering column the same???

I need the collars behind the steering wheel for a floor shift car because mine is a column shift and I want to change it over. So are the collars the same or even the whole column the same and interchangeable? My car is a 67 Dart and the donor might be a 66 barracuda if it will work. Any opinions?

No they're not the same. '67 was the first year for collapsible steering columns. The diameter of the '67 column is also bigger than a '66.

they are designed to "colapse" if you get into an accident. [so it dont go through your chest]
