Axle locating pin in the leaf springs

We put an add-a-leaf in my Brothers E-body springs a few weeks back. We used up our spare set of locating pins we had pack ratted away.

Does anyone know where to get another set at? I am looking for the locating pin that the axle sits on in the middle of the leaf springs.

Can anyone help?

A quick fix is to use an Allen Head screw. The allen head becomes the location pin.

These are known as "spring center bolts" Dorman, others makes 'em. Any "decent" parts or fasteners store, or spring shop should be able to get them, and generally, they come in various lengths so that you CAN add more leaves.

in a pinch, i've used a 5/16" bolt of an appropriate length and ground the head to be round and to fit the hole in the perch....

Ace Hardware; in those little bins, back in the bolt section, they have steel spacers. Cut it to length.
